True Foundation
True Homes is committed to having a positive impact on the communities in which we build homes through our True Foundation. We give back through empowering our associates, our True Homes Foundation Scholarship, and amplifying the impact of our local community partners.
Associate Empowerment
True Homes empowers each associate to make an impact on our local communities throughout the True Foundation Matching Gift Program. The program matches each associates charitable contributions at 4 times their donation, up to $1,000 annually.

Community Hero Homes
Community Hero Homes focus on supporting upward mobility of local, community serving heroes including: teachers, policeman, healthcare workers, firefighters, social workers, and more.
Community Hero Homes purchased 4 lots in a redevelopment area near the NC A &T Campus, and built 4 homes affordable to households in the 60% to 80% AMI range. Each home was sold to a local community hero with a forgiveable second mortgage representing 20% of purchase price.
The four local hero homebuyers were:

Organizations that Associates
have contributed to include:
Community Partnership
True Homes has formed an impactful housing and services partnership with Charlotte Bridge Home and Community Link. This innovative partnership makes it possible for individuals that have served our country to achieve the American Dream of becoming a homeowner. The True Homes team builds and the True Homes Foundation donates two homes per year into the partnership. The veterans who move into the homes are able to make successful transitions, to stabilize their housing costs and become a sustainable and strong member of the community.
