We at True Homes are thrilled to announce that we have won Charlotte’s 2020 Top Workplaces for the 4th time in a row at the regional level. In addition, this year we have been recognized at the national level in the Top Workplaces USA Awards. These awards are given as national, regional, industry, and culture excellence recognition. Winning the Top Workplaces is proof-positive that our organization really does put its people first. Award recipients are selected because of our strong values, communication between employees and management, and innovative and operative efficiency. We find that our strong values set the tone for all further communication in our company, which paces the way to efficiency.

We are proud that these honors reflect our pursuit of excellence through our
values, but it starts at our mission: to be uniquely exceptional in how we
relate to our clients, associates, stakeholders, and trade partners. Our
mission statement is not just a sentence on our website, it is a lived pursuit
of connection between our employees and clients. When we say that we treat our
clients like family, we mean it. Because of them, we remain a privately held
company in an industry filled with corporate giants. Our clients have made us
the largest builder in the Carolinas, and for that we are very thankful.
One of the main ways that True Homes carries out our mission is with the follow-through of our values. First and foremost, we value people. We want to enrich the lives of the family and friends we work with. Family, friends, first-time home-buyers, homeowners, and business partners at every stage. Our vision remains true – to provide people the opportunity for more life. People are our business.
If someone can be a people-person, we’re a people-company. The rest of our values fall in line with our passion for people. This falls into our employees and internal interactions. We value intentionally living and growing, enjoying what we do, making the most of our time. Faith is key since we are part of a larger story, not just building homes. Sustainability means having resilience through all seasons and economic cycles.
Our team is characterized by competency, commitment, and character. We want to do the job right, by always doing what’s right. We acknowledge that we are an organization that is “in the world” but not “of the world” and hope to have a meaningful impact on people’s lives. And most important, we act as the advocates of our clients.
We are committed to offering service worthy of our signature — truth. Every True Home is personalized to be as unique as the families that will live there. Our clients personal satisfaction means everything to us, that’s why we ask for individual feedback – to make sure we know how each and every client feels about the entire process. We work with the industry leading research firm to hear what our clients have to say. We take it to heart and then we put it to work improving our homes, our process, and our people.
Our simple operating principles exist to maintain this integrity. We listen to the client and act on it. We are predictable, consistent, simplistic, focused, responsible and accountable. Furthermore, we advocate ways to empower employees and clients alike.
The continued recognition from Top Workplaces in Charlotte has not gone unnoticed
or unappreciated, and we have not let down our continual improvement upon our
foundation. This leads us to the national award level this year, and for that
we are grateful. A big thank you to the people that make it all happen with your continued dedication, support and
involvement with True Homes.
