FREON FREE AIR CONDITIONING
Our Lennox Air Handlers are Freon R - 22 free, therefore protecting the environment from the harmful ozone depleting affects of hydrochloroflorocarbons.

Our faucets reduce water usage by up to 30% per year.

Bermuda Grass
We install Bermuda grass which requires less water, fertilization, and maintenance.

Improved Air Quality
LOW VOC (Volatile organic compounds) carpet & pad
LOW VOC (Volatile organic compounds) carpet & pad Mohawk carpet is manufactured with recycled polyester resins. Depending on the upgrade, this could also include the inclusion of corn husks and shredded 2 liter plastic bottles. The carpet pad is also manufactured from recycled foam.

LOW VOC (volatile organic compounds) duron paint
The Duron paint we use contains low VOC products and is green qualified. The standards (set by Environmental Services) for interior and exterior products must be under 50 grams per liter for flat products and 150 grams per liter for semi gloss finishes. All of the Duron products far exceed these standards.

Green Friendly Products Found in all True Homes
Insulation
A typical pound of fiber glass insulation saves 12 times as much energy in its first year in place as the energy used to produce it - then continues to conserve energy year after year. The CertainTeed insulation products that we use improve building energy efficiency, helping to lower energy costs throughout the life of the structure. CertainTeed fiber glass insulation lasts for the life of the building, with no additional maintenance required and is also currently made with an average of 35% recycled glass.

Drywall
90% recycled paper and flue ash. The distribution process also qualifies as green under LEEDS standards as the product is manufactured locally and reduces air omissions in transportation.

Loose Fill Framing Materials
Materials 90% of our loose fill framing material comes from recycled forest lumber. Our exterior sheathing, sub floor, I-joists, and laminated veneer lumber is manufactured in a controlled, low VOC environment reducing green house gasses.

Wire Shelving
Closet Maid shelving is manufactured from 100% scrap material. This material is comprised of approximately 20% post industrial and 80% post consumer.

Interior Trim
Our interior doors and moldings are considered green because of the refined manufacturing methods and types of products used resulting in a finished product. Our MDF moldings and frames are part of a family of environmentally friendly extruded products known as engineered wood. MDF plants help divert nine million tons of residual wood from North American land fills every year.

Cabinets
Manufactured using energy efficient methods for constructing cabinets from recycled products. Original wood used in the construction is from re-forested harvests. The off-air gas ommissions created in the manufacturing process also reduces the VOC's below standardized levels.

Lighting Fixtures
Sea Gull Lighting offers the most comprehensive product line of energy saving lighting today, and was named Energy Star Partner of the Year and 2009 Sustained Excellence Award.

Interior Hardware
There are several Schlage initiatives which qualify our interior hardware as green. Product - 100% recycled product packaging, use of organically based sealers ILO chromium. Factory - Water consumption, Energy efficient lighting, Chemical substitution and solvent eliminations. Office - Transportation alternative, Programmable thermostats, complete office recyclable program.
